06 Nov SEQual Extends Partnership with Bureau Veritas and Enters New Agreement with DNV for On-site Assessments in Two-Year Contract
SEQual is delighted to announce the signing of a two-year contract with both Bureau Veritas and DNV for the continued delivery of SEQual On-site Assessments. This new agreement marks the continuation of Bureau Veritas’ role, having provided audit services to SEQual since 2021, and the start of an exciting collaboration with DNV. SEQual On-site Assessments are carried out when the risk is higher (i.e. there is the potential to introduce a major hazard to the client site). This assessment takes two to three days and covers elements of the Desktop Assessment to confirm that they are being implemented in the delivery of their work.
As a supplier of pre-qualification and ongoing assurance services operated by LOGIC, a wholly owned subsidiary of OEUK (Offshore Energies UK), SEQual plays a vital role in ensuring suppliers meet rigorous standards that the offshore energy sector requires. This latest contract underscores SEQual’s commitment to delivering industry-leading assessment solutions for the offshore energy sector.
Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has supported SEQual in delivering audit services for the past three years. This renewed partnership reaffirms their shared dedication to quality and compliance. DNV, an internationally recognised expert in risk management and assurance, joins this collaboration, further strengthening SEQual’s ability to provide robust On-site Assessments.
Catriona Stevenson, SEQual Manager at LOGIC says “We are pleased to extend our relationship with Bureau Veritas, who have been a valued partner since 2021, and to welcome DNV in forming a new partnership. Together, we are committed to ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality assessments, ensuring both compliance and operational excellence across the supply chain. With the combined expertise of Bureau Veritas and DNV, we are confident that our services will continue to meet the evolving needs of the offshore energy sector.”
Lee Hunter, Energy Market Leader at Bureau Veritas “Bureau Veritas is delighted to build on our successful three-year partnership with LOGIC in continuing to deliver this highly valuable pre-qualification service to the industry. It is through collaborative initiatives such as SEQual that we can work together to create efficiencies in the supply chain, leading to overall increased value for the industry as it navigates the energy transition.”
Joy Laing, Global Head of Supply Chain Management, DNV “DNV is delighted to have been selected as a service provider of audit, assessment, and verification services by LOGIC to support offshore energy suppliers registered on the pre-qualification system SEQual. Having such initiatives in place and building confidence between buyers and suppliers around QHSE compliance is critical to advancing progress in the offshore energy sector. DNV looks forward to supporting a range of companies to ensure they are operating responsibly and with high standards.”
The two-year contract will see SEQual, Bureau Veritas, and DNV working together to implement enhanced On-site Assessment services starting with immediate effect. This partnership reinforces SEQual’s leading role in supplier pre-qualification and assurance, helping both Buyers and Suppliers across the offshore energy sector meet and exceed industry standards by reducing duplication and creating a standardised approach to pre-qualification.
