SEQual Celebrates First Anniversary

We are excited to be celebrating SEQual’s first anniversary. The scheme launched on 19 May 2021 to improve and accelerate the pre-qualification process for Suppliers, while removing the administrative burden of supplier assessments for Buyers. By facilitating a collaborative industry approach to pre-qualification, we have been able to give Buyers and Suppliers confidence in the SEQual scheme, and facilitate cost-effective supply chain assurance.

Currently, we have 600 Supplier members registered, from independent small businesses to major Tier-1 organisations. SEQual Buyers include Apache, bp, CNOOC, EnQuest, Harbour Energy, Neptune Energy, Repsol Sinopec, Serica Energy, Spirit Energy, Shell, and TAQA.

Sakthi Norton, SEQual Scheme Manager said:

“Today marks an important day for SEQual, and I’m proud to be celebrating this milestone with our members and delivery partners. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are here to serve the industry, and we pride ourselves on our close relationships with our members.

“While the quality of our assessment services will always be our priority, we are also looking ahead to new functionality that will improve the experience for our members. As always, feedback from our members is key to our question review process and development plans, and we will continue to work collaboratively with them through our forums and working groups, as well as through our many 1-to-1 engagements, to ensure we deliver the very best service for our members”.
