You will receive email communications from SEQual reminding you to update your information as required.

When you select your product and service codes you will notice that any codes requiring an onsite assessment is shown as ‘Assessable’ in red. If you select these codes, complete and fulfil the desktop assessment, you will require an on-site assessment.

As part of the launch phase, assessment certificates issued by other UK oil and gas qualification schemes will be accepted until their expiry, or 1st May 2022, whichever is the earlier.  This will exempt you from any applicable SEQual on-site assessment until 1st May 2022. You will be able to provide this information as part of the desktop assessment.

Please contact us directly if you want to know the cost for your company to join SEQual. Membership runs for a calendar year and is renewed on an annual basis. Buyers joining part way through the year will be charged on a pro-rata basis.

In SEQual all products and services that suppliers may wish to offer to buyers are contained within a Product Code List. Each supplier on the portal will have selected the codes relevant to the products and services they wish to supply. This allows you as a buyer to search for suppliers that are qualified for the codes you wish to procure against.

In SEQual, the code set used is a subset of the UNSPSC, relevant to the industry

Suppliers complete the questionnaire with information about their company including the products they wish to supply; these are called requirements. The suppliers can assign specific requirements to different members of staff.

Suppliers’ usually take 2-3 three days to complete the questionnaire and submit their profile. Once they have submitted their completed requirements for assessment the SEQual team will check the information within 5 working days.

Once a supplier passes desktop assessment they will be published within SEQual and become visible to buyers.

Supplier organisations provide information about their company’s:

• Management team and systems
• Competence management
• HSEQ management systems
